The Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol - Uruguayan football’s governing body - have unveiled these collared home and away shirts celebrating the 100th anniversary of Uruguay’s first Olympic football gold medal, achieved at the 1924 Summer Olympics.
This was followed by another at the next games, and then two World Cup wins, in 1930 and 1950 - together marked by the four stars the national team wear above the crest - and these commemorative designs will be worn at the Paris 2024 pre-tournament in Venezuela this year.
The Under-23s will have a sky-blue home and a white away, both featuring details celebrating the centenary - including a gold-heavy crest - and striped elements nodding to the national flag, and the kits, the first since the split with supplier Puma, will be completed with familiarly complementing shorts and socks.
