V-Varen Nagasaki 2025 Fanatics Peace Jersey

V-Varen Nagasaki 2025 Fanatics Peace Jersey

V-Varen Nagasaki have released their 2025 Peace shirts, continuing their tradition of promoting a message of peace in connection with the atomic bombing of Nagasaki on August 9, 1945.

Sadly, the message remains deeply relevant in the world we live in today.

Since 2015, the club has worn special shirts during J.League summer matches as part of its peace initiatives. For 2025, the theme is "Feathers of Peace Flying Around the World." The motif symbolises hope, healing, freedom and growth, with the feather design representing the desire for a peaceful future.

The outfield version features a swirling pattern of feather-inspired lines in varying blue shades, while the goalkeeper shirt uses the same layout in a pastel pink palette. Both jerseys include a white V-Varen Nagasaki crest, Fanatics logos, and the club’s main sponsor Japanet across the chest. The shirts will be worn in two matches during August.

These kits are produced in collaboration with Fanatics and are part of a wider programme of peace-related activities promoted by the club.

Visually they are too heavy. It seems that the Japanese aesthetics never apply to their football shirts: simplicity, natural materials, and a focus on harmony and balance? I have never seen that on any J-League shirt lately.

Quite stylish, even with the multitude of sponsors adorning the jerseys - a common necessity for many J-League teams.
