Vancouver Whitecaps FC have unveiled their 2025 Black History Month kit, designed in collaboration with local artist Anthony Joseph.
This special edition adidas jersey honours the history and contributions of the Black community in Vancouver and Canada. It incorporates pan-African colours, including red, yellow, green, and black, alongside Kente patterns on the logo and numbers. TELUS appears as the primary sponsor.
The neckline features the quote “Black History, Canadian History” from Jean Augustine, the first Black Canadian woman elected to Parliament. A hummingbird jock tag represents both Vancouver’s official bird and the Caribbean heritage of several players.
