Vasco da Gama and Kappa have revealed the new third kit for the 2025 season, marking the 80th anniversary of one of the club’s most significant achievements, the “Champion of Land and Sea” title. In 1945, Vasco were crowned champions both in football and rowing, uniting the two core elements of the club’s identity.
The Kappa shirt pays tribute to this milestone through its colour scheme and detailing. The brown shirt represents the triumph on the pitch, while the blue goalkeeper version symbolises victory on the water, honouring the club’s nautical roots.
The 2025 Third jersey features a fold-over collar with contrasting trim, the Kappa logo on the chest and sleeves, and Vasco’s red Maltese cross on the front. A commemorative patch inside the shirt bears the year 1945, while a discreet pattern runs across the fabric, referencing the connection between the club’s football and rowing heritage.
Each shirt includes a Smart Tag with NFC technology stitched into the hem, allowing supporters to verify authenticity and access exclusive digital content. It will be paired with matching shorts and socks to complete the full kit.
