Vasco da Gama have unveiled a special edition Collector's Box produced with Kappa to celebrate the partnership between the club and the Italian manufacturer. The Kappa release brings their most recent collaboration, active since 2020, to a close while acknowledging the legacy created by the club and the brand since the mid 1990s.
The history between Vasco and Kappa includes major domestic and international honours, with memorable squads wearing the Omini logo during title-winning campaigns in the late 90s and early 2000s. The club highlight the relationship as one built on identity, tradition and continued innovation, while Kappa emphasise the pride taken in producing shirts that resonated strongly with the Vasco support.
The collectors' box combines two exclusive items. The first is a book that documents the full timeline of the partnership, including key moments, notable designs, and historic achievements. The second is a reedition of the first Kappa shirt created for Vasco in 1995. The reissue retains the signature white base with a black diagonal sash and includes the red Cruz de Malta crest on the chest. Subtle tonal crosses appear throughout the body of the shirt and Kappa branding is positioned on the collar and sleeves. The shirt features an NFC chip integrated into the crest, which directs supporters to exclusive digital content through the Vasco app.
In total, 1000 individually numbered kits will be available exclusively through the Vasco app, reinforcing the club’s focus on digital engagement and collector-driven releases.
