VfL Bochum have unveiled a special edition Mizuno football kit titled Pulsschlag aus Stahl (Steel Pulse), released as a one-match kit for the 2025–26 2. Bundesliga season.
Based on official imagery, the new VfL Bochum jersey features a black base with tonal grey graphic detailing applied across the front and sleeves, incorporating visual references linked to Bochum’s industrial history, including mining and steel production. Motifs visible within the surface graphics include abstract industrial shapes, mining tools and structural elements associated with the region’s heritage.
The Bochum football shirt is produced by Mizuno and includes a crew style collar finished with a striped inner detail. Matching striped trim is applied to the sleeve cuffs. The Mizuno logo is positioned on the chest opposite the VfL Bochum crest, while the Vonovia shirt sponsor branding is displayed centrally. A small graphic detail is placed at the upper back below the collar.
The VfL Bochum Steel Pulse shirt is paired with dark shorts and socks for match use during the home fixture against FC Schalke 04 at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion and is released as a limited edition.
