Sportverein Werder Bremen von 1899 and hummel have unveiled the Werder Bremen 26/27 Away kit for the 2026–27 Bundesliga season.
Werder Bremen Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Werder Bremen jersey forms part of the club’s “Fabric of Werder” campaign, which references Bremen’s textile history. The launch imagery was produced at the Bremen Cotton Exchange, a building connected to the city’s former cotton trade.
The shirt uses a deep dark green base with tonal vertical stripes woven into the fabric across the front, sleeves and back. A ribbed structure runs throughout the material, giving the jersey a consistent textured finish.
Orange, white and dark green triangular detailing surrounds the crew-neck collar and is repeated around the sleeve cuffs. An orange insert is positioned at the front of the neckline, with “Werder Bremen” printed inside the back neck. The phrase “Lebenslang Grün-Weiss”, meaning “Green and white for life”, appears beneath the rear collar.
White hummel chevrons are applied across the shoulders, with the manufacturer’s logo positioned on the right chest. The Werder Bremen diamond crest sits opposite, accompanied by a gold championship star above it. Main shirt sponsor MATTHÄI is displayed centrally in white.
The shirt uses raglan-style sleeves, with the tonal ribbing continuing across the shoulder and upper-arm sections. The short sleeves are completed by knitted cuffs carrying the repeating triangular pattern. Orange lettering and numbers are used for the player details on the back of the match version.
Full Werder Home Kit details
The new Werder Bremen football shirt is paired with dark green shorts carrying the same tonal vertical texture. White hummel chevrons run along the outer legs, with the Werder crest and gold championship star positioned on the front and the hummel logo placed on the reverse.
Dark green socks complete the full away kit, featuring an orange band around the upper cuff, white chevrons, vertical Werder lettering and grey reinforced sections around the heel, sole and toe.
