West Bromwich Albion 2022-23 Puma Home Kit

West Bromwich Albion have unveiled their new home kit for the 22/23 season.

The Puma shirt - which was created by the fans, for the fans – takes inspiration from the famous knitted kit worn by club legends Tony Brown, Cyrille Regis, Bryan Robson and others in the late 1970s.

Exciting features include iconic italic ‘WBA’ lettering in place of the club crest, while the traditional blue-and-white stripes incorporate jagged edges, as seen on the original.

A group of supporters from the Albion Assembly formed a sub-committee in 2021 to design the kit, linking up with Puma and the Baggies’ retail team to make their dream home shirt.

Almost as bad as the barcode design!!
Only good thing about the shirt is the logo instead of the badge! HATE the "blurred: zigzags!!!

A creditable effort from Puma for once. Pleased to see that WBA have reverted to to their traditional logo and recognisable navy and white striped jersey, I hate all this thing Puma have been doing recently where they just have a PSG style strip in place of stripes, as seen with Palaces home shirt and the WBA shirt last season.

The WBA is not our traditional logo . Don't get me wrong I have always liked it and think the kit is great . Most of.our history we have a traditional crest design .

@Jimmy I was only saying the WBA is not our traditional badge ,logo crest or anything else . I like it on the shirt . Ps Nobody likes a smart arse !!!

@Jimmy In fact the Throstle has only appeared on 25% of Albion shirts since we was formed I think it 1st appeared in 68 and in those 54 years it has not been the Throstle in 19 seasons since 68.

I may be slightly out, cause I'm still ****** up from last night!!

Very nice. There are some decent designs knocking about below PL level.

Very nice shirt, simple, classy and instantly recognisable as an Albion top.
For me the italic WBA would be a better full time badge than the crest, which I’ve always found to be a bit ****.

I love that.
Tbh I think even the sponsor seems to fit the retro feel, with it not being some kind of betting company or such

Absolutely love the retro look. For me i prefer the crest but the wba embroidery is before my time but still love it. And how cool is it that the fans got to design it! This should be done every season
