Wolverhampton Wanderers and SUDU have unveiled the Wolves 26/27 Away kit, the second release for the club’s 150th anniversary season.
Wolves Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Wolverhampton Wanderers jersey uses a white base with narrow black vertical pinstripes extending across the front, sleeves and back. The design references Wolves shirts worn between 1980 and 1982, including the white strip associated with the 1982–83 season.
A black fold-down collar is finished with white and old gold bands, with matching striped detailing used around the sleeve cuffs. The SUDU logo appears in black on the right side of the chest, opposite the Wolves crest, which retains its old gold, black and white colour scheme.
Midnite is displayed in black across the centre as the principal shirt sponsor. SUDU branding is also positioned on the shoulders, with iiWOLF Competitions appearing on the sleeve.
The white colour scheme references St Luke’s Church School in Blakenhall, where pupils formed the team that became St Luke’s FC in 1877. This forms part of the anniversary collection’s wider alchemy theme, with the Away shirt representing the whitening stage in which raw material is purified.
A special “WW 150” anniversary graphic is printed beneath the rear collar, accompanied by old gold trim. The back continues the narrow black pinstripe pattern used across the body.
Technical Features
The pro version of the shirt is made from a textured performance fabric and features a lightweight, heat-applied club crest combining silicone and mesh construction. Development included fit sessions with members of the Wolves first team, whose feedback influenced the cut, materials and finishing details.

The new Wolves football shirt can be paired with either black or white shorts, both featuring the club crest and SUDU branding on opposite legs. White socks with a black upper cuff, old gold and white horizontal bands, and black SUDU branding complete the full Wolverhampton Wanderers Away kit for the 2026–27 EFL Championship season.
