This is the 2024 away - “2nd” - shirt for Japanese J1 League side Yokohama F. Marinos.
The new adidas primary-change release is inspired by the “marinière” look that sailors - marinos - have popularised, this time turning the thin blue (pin)stripes that embellish the white base 90 degrees, from horizontal to vertical.
The shoulder-and-sleeve stripes keep to this colourway, while the German supplier’s chest logo and the crew neck are in red, the crest is in full colour, partner logos are in black and orange and the kit is completed with blue shorts and white socks.
