Argentina '86 Le Coq Sportif Legends Shirt

Argentina '86 Le Coq Sportif Legends Shirt #maradona #LeCoqSportifLegends #LCSFamily

Iconic French brand Le Coq Sportif has released a commemorative Argentina-style t-shirt referencing the Albiceleste’s 1986 World Cup triumph.

Featuring an approximative crest with the number 86 replacing detail, the shirt also carries the current LCS logo in black - rather than the Tricolore-styled version - to nod to the original design worn by Diego Maradona and co.

While the retread oddly configures the stripes with sky blue rather than white centrally, the crew neck and the miniaturised number 10 on the reverse evoke images of a Le Coq Sportif bedecked El Pibe de Oro tearing up Mexican pitches 35 years ago.

Undoubtedly released in reaction to Maradona’s recent death, the cotton-polyester mix shirt will perhaps satisfy those looking for a fitting tribute to a near-unparalleled legend.

How can Le Coq sportif get the stripe configuration wrong? This is mixture of the 1982 shirt (blue stripe center, v-neck) and 1986 shirt (white stripe center, round neck). Le Coq Sportif made both the 1982 and 1986 shirt. Odd.
