Adidas have released an official reissue of the Argentina 2006 Away jersey, revisiting the kit worn by the national team during the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The reissue forms part of adidas’ ongoing Bring Back Collection, which focuses on faithfully reproducing historically significant football shirts.
The Argentina football shirt is presented in a deep navy base, a colourway introduced for the tournament as an alternative to the traditional home stripes. Light blue and white detailing runs across the shoulders, sleeves, and side panels, with subtle vertical pinstriping woven into the fabric.
Produced using a doubleknit style fabric, the Argentina jersey features an embroidered AFA crest on the chest, topped with two stars, alongside the adidas performance logo.
Classic adidas three stripe detailing runs along the shoulders, while curved panel inserts and contrast piping replicate the technical layout of the original 2006 design. A Climacool marking appears near the hem, consistent with the era specific performance technology used at the time.
