Argentina 2006 Adidas Home Reissue Jersey

Argentina 2006 Adidas Home Reissue Jersey

Adidas have released an official reissue of the Argentina 2006 Home jersey, revisiting the shirt worn by the national team during the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The reissue forms part of adidas’ ongoing Bring Back Collection, focusing on official recreations of historic international football shirts.

The Argentina jersey retains the country’s traditional sky blue and white vertical striping, applied consistently across the front and back panels. A round neck collar construction is used, paired with short sleeves and a straight hem finish. Black adidas three stripe detailing runs along the shoulders.

Positioned on the left chest, the embroidered Argentine Football Association crest includes two gold stars above the shield, representing World Cup titles won prior to the 2006 tournament. The adidas performance logo is placed opposite, maintaining the original chest layout used. Gold piping lines the chest and shoulder seams, while mesh ventilation panels are integrated along the upper sides and shoulders, reflecting the functional construction used in the mid-2000s adidas match shirts. The reverse continues the vertical stripe layout.

The Argentina football shirt is produced using a lightweight interlock style fabric and includes ClimaCool branding, referencing adidas’ moisture management technology used during the period.
