Barnsley FC and Admiral have released a 1998 Away Retro shirt, recreating one of the club’s late 1990s away designs.
The Barnsley football shirt features a cream base, closely reflecting the original 1998 away kit worn during their Premier League era.
The jersey features a navy V-neck collar with white trim, while the sleeves are finished in navy with red piping. The Barnsley crest appears on the left chest in its circular format featuring the white rose, while Admiral branding is positioned opposite in navy embroidery. Central sponsor branding is applied across the chest, replicating the original ORA Mobile Phone Accessories shirt sponsor from the 1998/99 season.
Navy panels run along the shoulders and sleeves, finished with fine red piping that continues from the collar line to the sleeve cuffs, while the reverse of the shirt remains clean and is completed with a woven Admiral authenticity label positioned near the hem.
