Adidas Release Germany 2014 Away Reissue Jersey

Germany 2014 Away Reissue Jersey

The Germany 2014 Away Jersey has been reissued by adidas, bringing back the black and red change kit worn during Die Mannschaft’s successful 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign.

The Germany 2014 away reissue shirt recreates the original horizontal stripe design, combining broad black and red bands across the front and back. The shirt features a black stand collar with a two-button placket, while silver adidas Three Stripes run along the shoulders.

The DFB crest appears in monochrome on the left chest with three stars above, representing Germany’s World Cup titles at the time the kit was originally released, while the adidas logo is positioned opposite in silver embroidery.

Additional details include tonal striping within the red hoops, “Die Nationalmannschaft” text below the rear collar, and dark side panel inserts running vertically down the body. The reissue keeps the streamlined silhouette associated with the original adidas football shirt from the 2014 international cycle. Constructed with jacquard fabric, the Jersey combines retro football styling with updated comfort and a slim fit profile suitable for everyday wear.

It pays tribute to one of the most successful periods in Germany National Team history, when players including Philipp Lahm, Thomas Müller, Miroslav Klose and Mario Götze helped secure the country’s fourth World Cup title.

I like red and black hoops, but when this came out I thought it was a weird choice for Germany. But what can I say, after the WC cup win I had to accept it.
