Newcastle United Football Club (FC) and their supplier adidas have released a new retro version of their iconic 1995-96 (and 1996-97) Home football shirt.
The 2025 version of the English Premier League side’s classic design is largely faithful to the original, featuring the button-up “grandad”-style collar on the striped black-and-white trunk, the embroidered crest and the “Newcastle Brown Ale” beer bottle sponsor graphic in full colour.
The 1995-97 version was worn by “The Entertainers” side of that era and, accordingly, the reissue shirt is also available with personalisation print of superstar French winger David Ginola (14) and legendary English striker Alan Shearer (9).
