The Newcastle United 95/96 Away shirt returns as an official revival of the club’s iconic mid 90s change strip, reproduced for contemporary release as part of the Newcastle 95 collection.
Manufactured by adidas Originals, the reissue follows the original layout and construction details. The Newcastle jersey features wide horizontal hoops across the body, with matching striping continuing on the reverse. A traditional Henley style neckline is used, complete with a button placket and a contrasting collar finish consistent with the era.
Branding details are kept faithful to the original release. An embroidered Newcastle United crest is applied on the chest, paired with a classic adidas wordmark opposite. The central Newcastle Brown Ale shirt sponsor appears in its period correct circular format. A woven heritage style label on the lower hem references the club name and registered trade marks.
The sleeves carry adidas three stripe detailing, while the overall cut reflects the relaxed proportions typical of 90s football shirts.
