Sporting Cristal and Puma have released a commemorative edition shirt inspired by the club’s memorable 1988 season, paying tribute to the year the Celeste secured their ninth league title, a season remembered for the return of Julio César Uribe and the celebrations at La Florida.
The shirt comes in sky blue with subtle tonal stripes and features the club’s 1980s crest on the chest. A fold-over white collar and matching sleeve trim complete the look, while the front displays a bold black Puma sponsor mark. The year 1988 is printed on the back below the collar, further tying the design to its historic roots.
The retro release is presented in a special commemorative box set, which includes historical references and imagery from the championship-winning campaign.
