The new deal will see Kershaw sponsor the team's away shirts for the ninth and tenth consecutive years.
That breaks the local record for shirt sponsorship, which was set by Kershaw when it signed a previous two year deal in 2007.
Gary Atyes, Business Development Manager for Cambridge United, commented, "With the current economic climate this shows a tremendous commitment from Kershaw, which is typical of them as a company.
"The club is delighted they've signed up and we are working hard on a number of other exciting deals, hopefully to be announced in the near future."
Kershaw Group's managing director Mark Finlay said, "In a week like this when Cambridge United is potentially 90 minutes away from League football, we wanted to show we are fully behind the team.
"There seemed no better way of doing that than signing for a new two year deal. Everyone at Kershaw Group wishes Gary and the team the best of luck on Sunday, and many of us will be there to watch."
A new away shirt will now be designed and revealed later in the summer.
Kershaw Group has its head office in Cambridge, and can track parts of its history back to 1887.
