Cambridge United announced Italian firm Errea as the Club's new Kit Supplier for the next two seasons.
Errea Sport are an Italian technical sportswear manufacturer who have been associated with professional clubs playing in Europe's most renowned leagues, Serie A in Italy, La Liga in Spain and the English Premiership. They are at the cutting edge of research into new fabrics and manufacturing techniques, such as their innovative Ti-energy nano-technology range and 3D Wear technical underwear.
Speaking on this step forward for the Club, U's General Manager Robert Smith told cambridgeunited.com, "This is an exciting development as we look to providing value, quality and variety for our fans and commercial partners.

"After receiving several very good offers from a variety of suppliers, it wasn't difficult to buy into the workmanship, enthusiasm and professionalism of Errea.
"The supporters wear our colours with pride home and away and after reviewing all of the options with Martin Ling, the board agreed unanimously to support this proposal."
The deal will see Errea supply playing and training kit for the first team and youth development structure. They will provide the Club with security going forward, with the new home and away designs on track to be in stock and available for the start of the 2010/11 season.
He continued "The Club will be dealing with one party who manufacture their own products in their own factories. They are financially stable and will offer us a confidence to work with them as a partner to enhance the service and products we can supply to our supporters. However, they recognise they are not a retail organisation but a manufacturer with a focus on the supply of good quality kit.
"The retail operation will now come back to the Club and be managed in-house. There will be a transitional period and a sale of old stock to be announced in the near future. We ask for patience from our supporters while we bring the retail operations back in house and structure our process to provide long term benefits to our fans, commercial partners and the Club."
On completing this agreement the Head of UK Operations for Errea, Mr Fabrizio Taddei, said "We are proud to be associated with such a historic and well regarded club and we are looking forward to building a relationship that, we hope, will take us well beyond the initial 2 year agreement."
