Club Brugge signs Puma deal

 PUMA and Club Brugge share a long history together. From 1976 through 1995, PUMA was the official supplier to the top Belgian club. During this period, Club Brugge won no less than seven League Championships, four domestic Cup trophies and reached the final of the European Cup against Liverpool FC in 1978.

Leusden, The Netherlands, January  2007 – PUMA and Club Brugge K.V. mutually announced a long-term partnership coming into effect on July 1, 2007.

As of the 2007/2008 season, Club Brugge will become the face of the sportlifestyle brand in Belgium.

The Club joins a strong portfolio of teams currently endorsed by PUMA including Tottenham Hotspur, VfB Stuttgart, AS Monaco, Girondins de Bordeaux, Sporting Club de Portugal, reigning World Champions Italy, Czech Republic, African Champions Egypt as well as African powerhouses Cameroon and Ivory Coast.

Under the new agreement, PUMA will again become the official supplier of all competition and training apparel and equipment.

Through the years Club Brugge has won twelve Belgian League titles, nine Belgian Cups and is currently 4th in the Jupiler League, Belgium's first division.
