CSKA Sofia signed a two-year deal with mobile operator Globul, who are now the official sponsor of Bulgaria’s most successful football club.

Under the recently signed partnership agreement, the 31-time Bulgarian champions of CSKA will play their domestic and international games with Globul logo on their jerseys in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 football seasons.
Globul will also advertise on the club’s Bulgarian Army Stadium. Under the agreement, the parties may offer co-branded commercial offers targeted at the millions of CSKA fans in the country including theme mobile content products like ringtones, wallpapers, games as well as exclusive news, photos & video, distributed via Globul network.
The sponsorship contract envisages various bonuses based on the club’s performance in the Bulgarian Championship and in the UEFA Europa League, including special bonuses for a win in the ‘Eternal Derby’ against PFC Levski. CSKA will play their first official championship game with the GLOBUL logo on their jerseys on September 12, 2009 against PFC Pirin in Blagoevgrad.
At the event, CSKA head coach Lyuboslav Penev presented the first Globul-branded to Globul Chief Executive Commercial Officer Mr. Dimitris Blatsios.

On behalf of Globul, he presented CSKA Supervisory Borad Chairman Mr. Dimitar Borisov, the club’s Executive Director Vencislav Zhivkov, head coach Penev and team captain Todor Yanchev iPhone 3GS handsets.
