Doncaster Rovers have pledged to give child cruelty the red card as the Club joins forces with the NSPCC to raise money for children and young people.

During the next 12 months, Rovers will help to raise much-needed funds for the children's charity as well as helping to raise awareness of children's issues and the work the charity does in Doncaster.
To start this partnership, Rovers are to go green at the home clash against Crystal Palace, with the squad turning out in green and white hoops for the first time at home in their history.
The shirts will have the NSPCC logo on the front instead of our usual Wright Investments logo (thanks to the Club's shirt sponsor for giving their blessing as part of their support for the project). This has taken a great amount of work to get all the permissions in place, such as from the FA and the Football League. The teams will be lead out on to the pitch by 22 green shirted Junior Rovers.
In fact it is going to be a totally green day with a special collectors programme in, yes; you got it, green plus a full one week green makeover of the Doncaster Rovers Official Website.
The green and white shirts will be a collector's dream, with only 30 being produced, so Rovers will auction following the game, individual shirts signed by its respective player at various events and on EBay, with all proceeds going to the NSPCC.
It's going to be one special day at Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 25th April, with face painters, speed shooting and other events plus coaching sessions from 11.30 'til 1.30 for all the family on the Astroturf pitches.
The NSPCC runs a number of therapeutic and counselling services in South Yorkshire, including the Doncaster Therapeutic Support Team where children's workers provide support to children, their carers and families, as well as offering advice, information and counselling support to parents.
