In its last home game in 2008, FC Augsburg played against Alemannia Aachen at the Rosenaustadion yesterday, December 14th.
To mark the end of the year, FCA was putting on a one-of-a-kind promotion to thank its loyal fans and members, as well as its partners and sponsors for their support during the past year.

The promotion also involved supporting the 'Kartei der Not' relief organisation. The motto of the event was: 'Together we can do it: FCA and its fans for the Kartei der Not'.
Thanks to the generous support of FCA's main sponsor impuls AG and kit sponsor DO YOU FOOTBALL, FCA lined up against Alemannia Aachen wearing shirts sporting not the impuls logo, but the Kartei der Not logo.
"I think it's great that our main sponsor impuls and our kit sponsor DO YOU FOOTBALL have agreed to back this promotion at such short notice - it really shows the partners' solidarity with our club and their attitude to social projects," says FCA managing director Andreas Rettig happily, commenting on the partners' support.
Eleven original FCA shirts produced specially for this match were raffled off among all paying visitors - including season ticket holders - via the ticket numbers.
The winning ticket numbers will be printed in the Augsburger Allgemeine on the Monday following the game. Winners get their original shirt upon presenting the admission ticket. If more than 22,000 spectators attend this match at the Rosenaustadion, 22 specially printed shirts were raffled off.
