Giovanni van Bronckhorst revealed how the Feyenoord shirt will look with the logo of Feyenoord’s new main shirt sponsor Qurrent.
The head coach did so after the press conference in which Feyenoord and Qurrent management explained the partnership, which will initially run for four years. The black Qurrent logo will be displayed on the first team shirt, as well as the jerseys of Feyenoord Academy and Sportclub Feyenoord until 2021. The official shirt for the 2017-2018 season will be unveiled at the start of the new season.
In De Kuip’s Press Room commercial director Mark Koevermans expressed his satisfaction with the deal agreed with Qurrent, which has been named the greenest electricity supplier in the Netherlands for the past three years. ‘We are proud and delighted to have Qurrent as our new main partner,’ said Koevermans. ‘First of all, because we can work together on the future of Feyenoord. It is also important to us as a club to take a central role in society. We already do that with our social projects and we’re now adding green and sustainability projects. In association with Qurrent we can show that we are more than a football club. With the green and sustainability projects we complete our social programme and show that we take our social role extremely seriously and are proud of it.’

‘We are hugely proud to get the opportunity to start this adventure with Feyenoord,’ said Qurrent director Richard Klatten. ‘Feyenoord is a fabulous club with fantastic supporters. We are convinced that we will be able to green the Netherlands together with Feyenoord.’
Co-director Denis Slieker added: ‘Our mission is to green the Netherlands. We can only manage that if we work together. That’s why we are going big with this partnership, which we also expect to improve our name familiarity.’
