Herzogenaurach, February, 2007 – As agreed on January 30, adidas submitted its legal position to the German Football Association (DFB).
Following detailed examination of the expert opinion commissioned by DFB, adidas remains convinced that the existing agreement was effectively extended in August 2006 until at least 2014.

This has been confirmed to adidas by a group of experts comprising internal and external specialist lawyers and law professors. adidas and DFB will continue their talks in the near future, as agreed, in order to work on a solution to this issue in a spirit of partnership.
