Hearts return to wearing Umbro kits after previously wearing the brand from 1975-1986 and more recently from 2007-2012, which ended with a historic Scottish Cup Final victory over city rivals Hibernian in our final season in Umbro.
Ann Budge, Chair & CEO of Heart of Midlothian said: “Umbro is a leading global sports brand and we at Hearts are delighted to be associated with them once again.
“They are a brand that has history with our club and we are looking forward to wearing the brand proudly and exclusively in Scotland during next season.
"We have worked closely with Umbro to provide supporters with new kits and an exciting product range, which will be revealed in the very near future.
"Once again we are trying to give our fans what we believe they want, while doing the right thing, commercially, for the club. We are confident that this will be a very popular move with our supporters.”
Anthony Little, Managing Director for Umbro, commented: “Hearts is a club with fantastic history, not just in football but also with Umbro, last lifting a major trophy wearing the double diamond in 2012. It will be great to see them back in our kits when the 2017/18 season kicks off.
“The club is a great match for Umbro with their ambitions, commitment to community projects and desire to make the club accessible for fans fitting with our own ideals.
“On the pitch Hearts are a club with a youthful squad and an ambitious manager, while off it the development of a new main stand shows their ambition - this is a new and exciting partnership for Umbro and we are looking forward to revealing the kits we’ve created for the players and fans.”
The home kit will be on sale in June with away and third kits to follow at a later date. Full information will be released in due course.
