Huddersfield Town has announced a commercial agreement with international pharmaceutical company Thornton + Ross Ltd that will see the Huddersfield-based business sponsor the Club's away shirt for the 2009/10 season.
Founded in 1922, Thornton + Ross Ltd is the largest independent pharmaceutical manufacturer in the UK with a rapidly expanding portfolio and their corporate social responsibility fits perfectly with Huddersfield Town's own hard-working and expanding community programme.

Thornton + Ross, which employs over 350 people, has an impressive product portfolio encompassing a number of well-known over-the-counter medicine brands, including Covonia, Crampex, Setlers, Radian B, and Mycota, as well as Zoflora - the UK's leading disinfectant. They also have a thriving export business.
The Club is running a competition for supporters to guess which Thornton + Ross brand will appear on the front of the shirt. The first five correct entries will win a FREE away shirt when they are released for sale in June 2009.
Director of Business Development, Sean Jarvis, said: "To secure such a high-profile, international company as the sponsor for our away shirt is a real coup and speaks volumes about how the Club is perceived both locally and nationally.
"I know that there are many Clubs up and down the country, from the Premiership to League Two, that are struggling to find a commercial sponsor so we are delighted to have secured the backing of such a well established company.
"Huddersfield Town is proud to be one of the cornerstones of the community; the same can be said of Thornton + Ross and we are looking forward to working together to improve what we do over the next year.
"The competition is a bit of fun and the actual brand that will appear on the kit will be made public later this month."
Jonathan Thornton, Chairman of Thornton + Ross, said: "Thornton and Ross are a long established, Huddersfield based company who have grown to become the country's largest independent manufacturer of over the counter (OTC) medicines, and a major local employer.
"At a time of strong growth, in both domestic and export markets, we are delighted to be sponsoring Huddersfield Town's away shirts for the 2009/10 season. The deal will enable us to promote one of our consumer brands, whose logo will appear on the shirt, as well as giving a real boost to the company's profile in and around the town.
"Quite apart from the commercial benefits, we are looking forward to an enjoyable and exciting relationship with Huddersfield Town, a club with a long and proud tradition, and whose community values closely reflect those of Thornton and Ross. We wish them well for next season."
World record football freestyler John Farnworth was at the stadium yesterday to meet up with young Town star James Berrett ahead of the unveiling of Town's kits for next season.
Farnworth, 23, was in town to film a series of videos with Berrett for the kit launches of Town's home and away ranges in March and April.
Head of Communications, Alisdair Straughan, said: "We were delighted that John came down to help us make the videos. He has done half time shows for us before and is the best in the World, so he was the natural choice for this project.
"Manchester-based firm The Gate filmed the videos on a special HD slow-motion camera which should bring both kits to life and capture the skill and flair of both Jon and James.
"The end product will be visually stunning and every football fan will appreciate them, whether you are a Town fan or not."
The away kit will be revealed on the big screen at the Cheltenham game on Saturday 21 March and on the web at the same time. The home kit will be revealed in early April.
