Ireland announce New Balance Kit Deal

The Football Association of Ireland announced that New Balance will be the official kit supplier to the Republic of Ireland national football team, through its Irish distributor.

New Balance will supply the national team - men's and women's - from senior through to underage level with kit, training apparel and equipment from August 2017.

Ireland will join a host of teams wearing New Balance kits, such as Liverpool FC, Celtic FC and Shamrock Rovers FC, in a new relationship that arrives at an exciting time for Irish football. From Martin O'Neill's senior men's team chasing qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup to Colin Bell's senior women's team preparing for their 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup campaign, Ireland are competing with the world's best teams at the very top level.

The deal will also include full kit, training apparel and equipment for the Ireland underage teams as they aim to continue their recent impressive run of qualifying for UEFA European Championships.

John Delaney, FAI CEO, said: "The FAI is delighted to announce this relationship for our international teams. The Republic of Ireland jersey is recognisable all around the world and is synonymous with the passion that our players and our supporters are renowned for.

"We're looking forward to revealing the New Balance kits that will be worn by all of our competitive national teams as they enter into a very exciting time for international football."

Ireland boast some of the most passionate supporters in the world and we look forward to creating kits for them to be proud of, hoping to be a part of the success on the pitch."
