Remember first comments... I think national team sponsor ships only concern training shirts. They also invest in the future of the game nationally but in holland theres only like 3-4 teams that will benefit really... I know ill get shot down for this but i woulder mind sponsors on nation team shirts if it promised a better football state in that country.... my two cents

No, Duff did not get us sent down. it was the performances of the other players that got us sent down, along with the management of Mike Ashley and the problems in the running of the club. The toon went down over 38 games, not because of Damien Duff, but because we stank the top flight out for most of those games . Duff had a crap season for sure, but he was nowhere near as crap as Barton, Nolan and many more. Only Bassong, Harper, Carroll and Steven Taylor did themselves justice this season. Selling Given was a huge mistake, and Martins goals made sure that we did not go down even sooner, but he was crap when we needed him the most. Colochini gets my vote as the worst player of the year, and how a first choice for Argentina can play that badly week in week out beggars belief.

Now we can only hope its not Leed Utd part two

Newcastle United - Were s*i* and were sick of it:no:    :
