"JOMA have worked with us to design a traditional and classic version of the Leicester City strip with a modern twist. This is a special year for the Club and we have been delighted with JOMA's commitment to help us produce a special kit to help mark this momentous milestone in the Club's history.
In the UK, Joma have agreed to continue their partnership with Charlton Athletic, for whom they manufactured their 2005 Centenary Kit, and will also be manufacturing Watford FC's kit for the 2009-2010 season, emphasising their own commitment to family-oriented football clubs in this country.
In addition to this, the Spanish Olympic team will be wearing Joma's kit for the London 2012 games and Spanish La Liga club sides Sevilla, Deportivo La Coruna and Getafe all have their kits manufactured by JOMA. World-renowned players such as Sevilla's Freddie Kanoute, Atalanta's Nicola Ventola and Real Madrid's Pavon all wear JOMA branded football boots.
JOMA'S family focus and emphasis on quality and customer service particularly appealed to the club, especially in the 125-year anniversary season.
A family-run business, based in Toledo, Spain, JOMA were founded by Fructuoso López in 1965 and quickly developed a strong reputation by manufacturing high quality football boots, sport shoes, football textiles, accessories and leisure wear. The company have since expanded outside of Spain, working with football clubs across the globe, with bases in the UK, USA, Latin America and Europe, with a total distribution network in over 35 countries.
