Middlesbrough adidas extend kit deal

Middlesbrough FC will continue to wear the world-famous three stripes of adidas after agreeing an extension of their kit deal with the German brand.

The club has forged a strong relationship with adidas since adopting their designs and technologies four years ago and the products have proved extremely popular with fans.

The announcement comes just two weeks away from the launch of Boro's new 2013-14 home and away kits, which will go on sale to Season Card holders on Saturday June 1 ahead of general sale on Sunday June 2.

Chief Executive Neil Bausor said: "We're delighted to continue our relationship with adidas, a true global brand that is a standard bearer for products of quality, technological innovation, and design.

"Supporters have been incredibly positive about the adidas ranges over the past four seasons and this has helped our partnership with adidas go from strength to strength. I am confident the new 2013-14 strip will be a winner with the fans, too".

Steve Holland, Commercial Clubs Senior Manager at adidas, added: "It's great to maintain our partnership with Boro. We have an excellent relationship with the club and the fans have really supported the products.

"We're looking forward to continuing the great work of the past four seasons."

Next season's kit will be available on pre-order to all fans from Monday May 20. Watch out for further details.
