Shamrock Rovers, the League of Ireland's most successful team, are to announce a kit deal with the US manufacturer Warrior Sports.
The deal, which will see Warrior supply Rovers with kit for at least four years, including the upcoming 2014-15 season, will see a launch of a new shirt in the next few days. Shamrock Rovers have announced the temporary closure of their clubshop to allow the fitting of Warrior displays and delivery of the new Warrior-branded green and white hooped stock for the weekend.

The announcement of Warrior Sports' first foray onto the Emerald Isle coincides, coincidentally, with a speculative just-for-fun competition on DesignFootball.com, ending this weekend, wondering what a Republic of Ireland kit made by Warrior Sports would look like.
