After a lot of bad news lately, West Ham United are close to securing a new £4m-a-year football shirt sponsorship deal.

West Ham’s previous shirt sponsor, the travel company XL in which the club's owners Bjorgulfur Gudmundsson had an interest, went bust last month leaving a £4 million hole in the balance sheet.

Negotiations with a replacement sponsor are understood to be at an advanced stage however, and the club is hopeful that it will at least match the estimated £4m a year paid by XL, and possibly exceed it.

Nope, this does not work. if you are going to do an Inter shirt, I wish someone would use the Biscone crest, or a new updated version. Having an Image of a serpent eating a man alive is a lot more imposing and gives far more impact than the IFCM crest in my book.

Get real West Ham. NOBODY believes that you are going to get more money for a replacement shirt sponsor.
You may be living in cloud-cuckoo land but nobody - including your own fans - believes this sort of corporate spin rubbish any more.
