VfL Bochum announce Netto Marken Discount Sponsorship

VfL Bochum 1848 have signed a new shirt sponsorship deal with Netto Marken- Discount. The parties have agreed on a deal for the next two seasons. Netto Marken- Discount will appear on VfL Bochum’s 09/10 shirts from the start of the forthcoming season.

Currently we are capturing the market throughout the Ruhr Area where the rich in tradition club VfL Bochum 1848   enjoys the benefit of home advantage. Therefore, VfL Bochum is the ideal partner to increase the recognition of our company,” Franz Pröls, manager of Netto Marken-Discount AG & Co. KG., comments on the new partnership. “The various advertising opportunities the partnership with VfL Bochum 1848 offers, form an important part of our future brand promotion.”

Ansgar Schwenken, member of the VfL board of management, is happy about the new partnership too: “VfL Bochum 1848 is the perfect partner for Netto. Due to our professionalism and our likeable appearance, we are absolutely certain that we will be able to support the growth of recognition and the image transfer in a positive way.” The 39-year-old Schwenken also sees the advantages for the club: “We can enjoy the benefit of the great distribution network of Netto, and we are very delighted to have found a strong and reliable partner.”

In addition to the appearance on the VfL jerseys, the new cooperation that has been arranged by SPORTFIVE offers Netto several further advertising and PR measures, such as important perimeter advertising, logo presence, advertising space and a number of tickets for VfL matches.

    Probably a good move to sponsor the team with the worst shirts in the league. At least the logo stands out !

    The yellow logo reminds me of Sheffield Wednesday\'s yucky Chupa Chups effort from a few years back.

    Nice work... can you please design Pulis a decnt tracksuit for next season too!?nNot a fan of the potters but most of the negative comnments come out of jealousy. Hull and newcastle would swap plights given they play such 'stylish football'... lol

    Although this is similar to the current home shirt. I think it's quite good. The stripes are good, and I like how the back is still striped but has a space for the name. Good job mate.
