Wolves have signed a new two-year sponsorship deal with sportswear manufacturers, Le Coq Sportif. The Club and Le Coq, who have produced Wolves' strips for the last four years, will this evening (1st May 2008) unveil the new home kit at the 'End of Season Awards Dinner,' sponsored by GCI Com. The new design will also be paraded around the pitch before the final game of the season at home to Plymouth on Sunday May 4th 2008, (kick-off 2pm). The seven figure deal will see Le Coq Sportif produce a new home and away kit every year. The away kit will be launched in the summer. The home kit will be available to pre-order from Friday 2nd May 2008.
Chief executive Jez Moxey said: "Le Coq Sportif have a proven track record in top class football and have been an outstanding merchandising partner of ours over the past four years. "The feedback on Wolves /Le Coq Sportif branded products from our fans, manager and players has been very positive.

During the contract period with Le Coq we've sold record numbers of replica shirts and associated products. "The Fans' Parliament members gave their views on a selection of potential home shirt designs before the final kit was chosen. And I'm sure supporters will be happy with the look of the new strip when it is unveiled this evening and again at the Plymouth game on Sunday. Following on from feedback from supporters, one of the changes for next season is the socks, which will revert back to old gold in colour from the current mainly black design
"For a number of years now, many football clubs have changed their home and away strips every season and we've taken the step to alter our policy and follow suit. This makes sense from a commercial standpoint and gives us greater flexibility for the selling of the vital main club sponsorship package. By doing this we are no longer tied to a minimum of a two or three year contract with a main sponsor.
"We have also come to understand that a majority of those supporters who buy a replica shirt, do so every year and so we don't think this will have too much impact on fans. However, prices will remain the same as this season and, we believe, Wolves strips continue to represent very good value for money. We hope thousands of fans will take advantage of the offer to 'buy an adult home shirt and get a child's one for half price,' which will be running until the end of May 2008."
Paul Harrington, spokesman for Le Coq Sportif, said: "We are delighted to have renegotiated a third extension to our contract. We have a fantastic working relationship with Wolverhampton Wanderers and we all look forward to continuing to work with the club.
" Le Coq Sportif will continue to supply the first team squad and all Wolves' reserve and academy sides with a full range of match day and training wear, with the same styles also available to supporters through the official retail and online megastores. Le Coq Sportif supply seven clubs in the UK, including Manchester City.
The shirts will be on sale from Friday 16th May 2008. Prices have been frozen at last year's levels (Adult home shirts will be GBP 40 and Junior home shirts will be GBP 30) and, in addition, for a limited time only fans who buy a new adult home shirt will be able to purchase a child's shirt or mini kit for half price (offer ends 31st May 2008)
