FC Barcelona's away kit for the 2023/24 season has been unveiled, featuring a design paying tribute to the legendary Johan Cruyff, the architect of Barça's playing style.
Inspired by the blaugranes' away kit from the 1970s, the predominantly white jersey boasts red and blue stripes on the sleeve cuffs.
The jersey's white colour isn't entirely new for Barça, as players like Alcántara, Samitier, César, and Kubala sported white jerseys between the 1920s and 1970s. Notably, Johan Cruyff, who revolutionised the club's style of play, also donned white on several occasions, notably captaining and leading the team during a UEFA Cup game against Aston Villa on 1 March 1978. The new kit showcases red and blue stripes on the sleeve cuffs, along with the iconic crest used by the Club in 1978.
