Hartford Athletic's 2023 home jersey, called the "Capitol Kit" and created by Hummel, is inspired by the designs of the city's historic state capitol building.

The green body is lined with a dotted spiral pattern that mirrors the pattern inside the capitol building's gold leaf dome, while the blue wave in the waist of the jersey represents the Connecticut river.

The shirt also features the club crest, an eight-point star, the Connecticut state flag on the back plate, and the state motto on the inside of the neck.
