Società Sportiva (SS) Lazio, of Italy’s Serie A, have unveiled a commemorative shirt celebrating the tenth anniversary of their defeat of city rivals AS Roma in the 2013 Coppa Italia final.
The new bragging-rights-heavy greyscale/black release from Mizuno nods to Lazio’s status as being the elder of the Italian capital’s two heavyweights, with the gold decoration including a “l’Aquila è Roma" (The Eagle is Rome) detail and also providing Xs (10 in Roman numerals) on the cuffs and “10” on the neck to denote ten years passing in 2023, as well the date of the victory on the centre of the chest.
The shirt - which references the design worn on 26th May 2023, comes with a presentation box when bought and is part of a range of items - forms a kit with matching shorts and socks for a nominally single-coloured look.
