France’s adidas home shirt for the 1994–96 period was worn during their unbeaten qualifying run for Euro 96, where they secured second place in their group. The team conceded only two goals throughout the campaign, with Romania and Poland being the only sides to score against them.
A standout moment came in their 10–0 victory over Azerbaijan at the Stade de l’Abbé-Deschamps, though several draws saw them finish just behind Romania in the standings.
The adidas shirt features a royal blue base with a bold red, white, and blue diamond pattern down the left side, white collar with red and blue trim, and the classic adidas logo on the chest beside the French Football Federation crest with the golden cockerel emblem.
