The Birmingham City away shirt during the 1996/1997 season was manufactured by Pony and sponsored by Auto Windscreens.
The shirt design features black and red vertical stripes with a traditional fold-over collar trimmed in black and white. The Pony logo is embroidered on the right chest, with the club crest placed opposite on the left. The sponsor is displayed in white across the centre.
It was worn under the management of Trevor Francis when the side competed in Division One, finishing the campaign in 10th place.
