The seller added the following : Another shirt that Im never going to display or use sadly Its a late 1970's dark blue airtex matchworn shirt in a snug size large. Unlike the replicas of the time, this has the fully embroidered SFA & Umbro badges and stitched canvas # 22 numbering on the rear.
The wonderfully light polyester Airtex fabric is synomymous with the 1970's era, though it does have a small hole or two - this fabric doesnt suaually last too well due to the nature of its construction, so its pretty rare anyway
No Idea of player or game histrory unfortunately , or indeed exact year, but believe it was at the end of the '70s / early 1980's An evocative and rare piece of Scottish football memorabilia
