The Manchester City home shirt worn between 1997 and 1999 marked a turbulent yet memorable period in the club’s history.
Produced by Kappa, the sky blue shirt features the Brother sponsor across the chest and navy trim on the collar and cuffs. The iconic Kappa Omini logo runs along the sleeves, while “M.C.F.C.” is printed on the lower back.
This shirt was worn during the 1997–98 campaign when City were relegated to the third tier of English football, followed by a remarkable comeback the next season as they secured promotion via the Play-Off Final against Gillingham.
