This Northern Ireland home shirt from adidas was worn during the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, where Billy Bingham’s side faced a tough group including Brazil and Spain.
Despite strong performances, they were unable to progress beyond the group stage. The same design continued into the Euro 88 qualifying campaign, where Northern Ireland finished third in Group 4 behind Yugoslavia and England.
Made by adidas, the shirt features alternating light and dark green vertical stripes with a white V-neck collar and trim. The classic Trefoil logo appears on the right chest, while the Irish Football Association crest is positioned opposite. White stripes run along the shoulders and sleeves, completing the traditional look.
