West Ham United 1988-89 player shirt by Scoreline believed to have been match worn by Kelly in the 1988-89 season.
The up and coming forward was snapped up from Walsall in the summer of '88 with his great form having led to a place in the Republic of Ireland Euro 88 squad.
The Hammers paid £600K for Kelly's services and he made 38 appearances scoring 10 goals in this campaign but it turned out to be one to forget as the side suffered a shock relegation from the top flight which ended John Lyall's 15 year reign in charge at the club. Kelly stayed on at Upton Park for 24 games in 89-90 before being sold to Leicester City. This shirt was the last to feature the classic Avco sponsor which was the club's first shirt sponsor in a deal which started back in 1983.
Correct player size cloth print professionally machine stitched, fully embroidered crest and Scoreline logos, paint transfer Avco sponsor, made from 70% nylon and 30% triacetate, long sleeved version not commercially available, comes from the players own personal collection - a signed letter verifying this will be provided.
