This is a leaked picture of the New Portsmouth Home shirt for the 08/09 season made by Canterbury.

Canterbury has certainly turned heads in the football world in gaining the sponsorship of a side in the premiership this season, not least because of its status as virtually unknown in the sport 12 months ago, but also for bringing what has been billed as the most cutting-edge and forward-thinking kits.

The 2008-2009 away kit has already been officially unveiled. You'll see it here and info on the new crest here

i really like this but i agree that 2 colours is probably not enough, a bit of white wouldn\'t go a miss. all in all a good effort, i am impressed with how well canterbury have adapted to football without them looking like modified rugby jerseys

Being a KIWI, i think is a fantastic shirt.
Certinaly is better than most EPL stirts about.

I think CCC are starting to be a major player in Football....its all good!!

I quite like it, don\'t think the sponsor logo needed to be in gold tho, maybe red with white outline would have worked better?

shirt is nice enough, a little bit boring with just 2 colours throughout. would look better with white oki sponsor and canterbury logos. the badege isnt eyecatching enough, it gets lost in the dark blue.

have to say i am impressed with canterbury\'s kits - portsmouth\'s kits this season are pretty sweet......the new ones aren\'t bad either

Maybe a wee bit too much gold,
But golly gosh, it is very nice.
