Reading 08/09 Home and Away Puma kits launched

Reading FC launched their new home, away and goalkeeper kits for the 08/09 season made by Puma. The new ranges have been developed in conjunction with Puma, the Club's technical kit partner, and feature the branding of new Club sponsors Waitrose.

The front of the home shirt retains our signature blue and white, with the addition of gold detail picking up the gold element of the club logo to celebrate the first decade at Madejski Stadium.

The away shirt is a Puma 'King' design in sunset orange to ensure our players get noticed away from home! And the new goalkeeper's kit comes in bold black, featuring a simple high v-neck.

Using the latest in sportswear technology to ensure the ultimate in playing comfort as well as style, these are exclusive designs for Reading FC and incorporate many technical features including a fine mesh back to provide moisture-wicking with breathable qualities.

The replica kit is identical to the playing kit, unlike some clubs who produce their replica kit to a lower technical spec. Reading FC have now kept prices for replica kit unchanged for the past eight years.

the bright orange is great. And the shorts should be blue in the home kit. I hope Reading gets promoted this season.

    Paul,

What is the problem with a \"grown man\" wearing a football shirt? Since you are the expert, what is the age at which a \"man\" cannot represent? Is it a height / weight issue? Or, are you just incredibly self conscious?

I love the home kit with the gold trim and all white sleeves. The away kit is not too exciting for me. But I will buy the home kit. :-)

How ironic, the club being in the fizzy pop coca cola championship and Waitrose sell coke. The new kits really do reflect the club - utter s*i*.

Looks ok i suppose at least their being different, nothing special don\'t like the bright orange that seems to be getting ever more popular in football. First thing i noticed was the the sponsor, and to be honest I would have never have thought \'Waitrose\' would be ever become a football sponsor. :-)
