Nike unveiled the Thailand national football team kits for the 2009/10 season, introducing a yellow home strip and a blue away option. The Football Association of Thailand confirmed that the colours were chosen to honour the Thai monarchy, with yellow representing the King and blue symbolising the Queen.
The yellow home shirt features a clean design with a blue V-neck collar and side stripes. The national crest, depicting an elephant with a football above the national flag, appears on the left chest, with the Nike Swoosh embroidered opposite in blue. The word “THAILAND” is printed on the upper back, just below the collar.
Constructed using Nike’s FIT DRY fabric technology, the shirt provides improved ventilation and moisture management, ensuring comfort during play. A Nike Team authenticity patch is positioned at the hem to certify the design’s official status. Matching yellow shorts and socks completed the home kit.
Thailand debuted the new design at the 2008 AFF Suzuki Cup, where they faced Malaysia, Vietnam and Laos in Group B. The yellow home kit remained in use through the 2009 and 2010 international fixtures.
