Thailand 09/10 Home and Away Nike kits

Nike unveiled the Thailand national football team kits for the 2009/10 season, introducing a yellow home strip and a blue away option. The Football Association of Thailand confirmed that the colours were chosen to honour the Thai monarchy, with yellow representing the King and blue symbolising the Queen.

The yellow home shirt features a clean design with a blue V-neck collar and side stripes. The national crest, depicting an elephant with a football above the national flag, appears on the left chest, with the Nike Swoosh embroidered opposite in blue. The word “THAILAND” is printed on the upper back, just below the collar.

Constructed using Nike’s FIT DRY fabric technology, the shirt provides improved ventilation and moisture management, ensuring comfort during play. A Nike Team authenticity patch is positioned at the hem to certify the design’s official status. Matching yellow shorts and socks completed the home kit.

Thailand debuted the new design at the 2008 AFF Suzuki Cup, where they faced Malaysia, Vietnam and Laos in Group B. The yellow home kit remained in use through the 2009 and 2010 international fixtures.

There is nothing wrong with this shirt really, pretty much what you comre to expect from Nike.

The one thing I would like to pick up on is, in the write up they say \"Nike has designed a yellow home kit and a blue away kit.\" Shouldn\'t that have been \"Nike had a s*i*-load of yellow and blue FIT DRY shirts hanging about the warehouse and decided to slap the Thailand badge on them\"?

    Golden shower?

Players with socks above their kneecaps.......that\'s so 2006

Weird photos. Is that an extra pocket to hide your waterbottle/bidon/ hamsterwater on the side? The collar looks thick or is it a hooded shirt?

    Yet still ....it looks OK

That\'ll be the same template as Indonesia then....That must be one helluva bribe that NIKE have thrown out in the far east....mind you at least they don\'t have to worry about transport costs as all the NIKE sweatshops are over there anyway.....

I find it hard to believe any referee would allow the goalkeeper top wear that yellow jerssey while his team mates are all in gold...
