In 1875 Birmingham City FC, known as The City Club, was born to the working classes, deep at the heart of the industrial revolution.

The city had become the back bone for British manufacturing, sprawling with back-to-back housing for the growing workforce.

From the pubs to the workhouses and factories, Birmingham City FC has been proud to be a part of the city resident’s lives for 144 years.

For the 2019/20 season kit launch they paid homage to their links to this great city by working closely with Garrison Tailors - the official suppliers to the Peaky Blinders TV show - who kindly supplied the suits worn by the players in the photography and launch video.

Produced by adidas, the kit is designed with the famous royal blue accompanied with a striking yellow trim. It is the fourth home kit to be made by the Club’s official technical supplier.

Birmingham City football club has also agreed a new principal partner deal with Boylesports until the end of the 2020/21 season.

The agreement, which is the Blues’ biggest sponsorship deal in more than a decade, will see the BoyleSports logo adorn the front of the men’s team playing kit and replica shirts.

Same teamwear template as the 18/19 away kit. So far it’s been presented with two different sponsors, and 2 different styles of club crest.
As it’s teamwear does that mean the badges and logos are put on by a third party? Can’t imagine a company like Adidas would launch with decisions yet to be agreed.
Don’t mind the darker sleeves and socks the yellow feels out of place for a Birmingham home kit though.

@M C Hammer You’d think that, with Adidas, the maker of Ajax kits, this wouldn’t be a problem ?

It’s just a shame the fans aren’t included in the process.

That’s how you sell the ‘for the fans’ marketing campaign.
