Puma has unveiled the King Platinum Pantera Negra football boots, a special edition release honouring Eusébio’s Ballon d’Or triumph in 1965. The model appears in a blacked out presentation with metallic detailing and is limited to 1965 pairs worldwide, matching the year of the award.
The Puma football boots feature a smooth leather upper designed for a natural feel on the ball, with the KING wordmark placed on the tongue in gold. The construction includes a streamlined fit with a tongue shape that forms around the foot, while the external heel area is reinforced for added stability.
Perforated detailing appears along the lateral side of the upper, and the heel tab displays the Puma cat logo in gold. Inside, the sockliner carries the Pantera Negra name printed in gold as a direct reference to Eusébio’s famous nickname.
Underneath, the soleplate uses a metallic finish with conical studs arranged for multi directional traction. The design incorporates a lightweight Ortholite sockliner for comfort and cushioning during movement. The special packaging includes a black presentation box with Puma branding.
